Many people in Frisco who end up in drug rehab are dual diagnosis clients with co-occurring mental and substance abuse problems. Surprisingly, as many as 1/3 of those who struggle with mental health issues in Frisco also take part in substance abuse at some point in their lives. These dual diagnosis clients often turn to alcohol or drugs to self medicate as a way to alleviate the symptoms of an underlying psychological disorder.
